Camp Lionheart is a free, week long, overnight grief camp for children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Camp is a place of hope and healing where kids and teens come together to grow, connect, find support and have fun!

Camp is an overnight, residential camp that runs Sunday through Saturday each summer, and is held in partnership at Camp OtyOkwa in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. Spots are limited at camp and applications are processed on a first come first served basis. Camp typically fills up in 24 hours each year, so please stay tuned to social media for information on registering.

Camp Lionheart is full of regular summer camp activities such as swimming, hiking, games and crafts, while incorporating structured grief and trauma-informed group counseling sessions with trained, licensed professionals. Camp Lionheart balances the healing aspects of nature while supporting kids in their grief, trauma, and suffering.

Camp Lionheart is sponsored by a grants from the The Athens Foundation, GPD Foundation, The Columbus Foundation, other grants, donors, and in-kind sponsors. Camp Lionheart is always looking for additional funding! To donate directly, please visit http://www.camplionheart.org.
